Dentists recommend regular check-ups to avoid dental complications.
Dental caries and paradontopathy - gum disease and supporting tissues - are the most common diseases of the teeth, between 95 and 99 percent of the population having, sooner or later, such suffering, said Voicu David, president of private doctors in Romania.
The incidence of caries and paradontopathies is higher than that of heart disease, AIDS or cancer, said the president of the Association of Dental Practitioners with Private Practice in Romania (AMSPPR).
The increased incidence is caused by the large number and different from the microbes, say the specialists.
"Those who do not do so quickly caries, it seems that they will, at a certain age, paradontopathies or vice versa. Mixed microbes, poor hygiene and lack of annual dental control can lead to the appearance of several dental conditions simultaneously. We have 14 teeth up. and 14 down, so 28 organs to treat, not a single heart or liver, "said the president of AMSPPR.
People need to know that dental treatments are more expensive because the cost includes materials costs, employee salaries, other gifts and the rest is up to the investing doctor. For example, from a tariff of 600,000 lei - the cost of a lead (a filler) - about one third are spent on materials, 200,000 lei are salaries, and only the rest is the doctor's fee, the AMSPPR president said.
According to him, a tooth that has been neglected for ten years involves huge costs for treatment.
The percentage of those who come to the annual check is 2-3 percent. In the 2-3 percent are found small cavities, a tartar or a gingivitis. The costs to solve them are minimal. For this reason, dentists recommend periodic control, daily oral hygiene (brushing in the evening before bed and even in the morning because, during the night, microbes gather in the mouth), as well as changing the toothbrush at most three months. In addition, they recommend the use of good quality toothpastes.
For sensitive gums or various paradontopathies it is good to use Marigold tea. Ringing tea it is also very effective, as is blueberry or thyme. We can still use it propolis tincture which acts efficiently in the case of pathological phenomena. By treating the inflamed areas, this bee product does wonders.
