The Museum of Childhood, Discovering the World, at home and at school

September 14 - October 14, 2012, Irina Nicolau Hall

The National Museum of the Romanian Peasant awaits you on Friday, September 14, 2012, 6:00 pm, at the opening of the fourth exhibition a The Museum of Childhood, Discovering the World, at home and at school, which will take place at Irina Nicolau Hall.
It is said that, from the first day of life, we begin to die a little. It is possible, but in childhood, it is the curiosity that saves. From this perspective, those who feed the child's hunger for discovery are the parents and the small school. In this way, they become responsible for the performance of the future adult and, more importantly, for keeping the fresh state of interrogation for as long as possible.
Village mice, city mice or the library, children learn everywhere by the same means, by observation, imitation, question and answer, in a word, by permanent communication.
About how the world is discovered to little ones, or how its mysteries are always revealed from the beginning, countless stories can be told. Some of them can be known in this fourth temporary exhibition from the European project "Childhood. Remains and Heritage".
The exhibition Discovering the world, at home and at school can be visited until October 14, 2012, from Tuesday to Sunday, between 10:00 - 18:00. The entry is free.
Co-organizers: National Museum of the Romanian Peasant, Artees Association, Lebork Museum, Romanian Cultural Institute
